A Reiki can focus on the areas of your body that accumulate your stress. During stress & negative emotions, when the heart rhythm pattern is erratic and disordered, the corresponding pattern of neural signals traveling from the heart to the brain inhibits higher cognitive function. Throughout your session, your blocked energy will be released and afterwards you will experience more regular heart rhythms, an improved mood, & overall stress reduction.
A common Reiki healing session distributes and increases the flow of positive energy in your body. Once your body increases the flow of positive energy and releases blocked negative energy, it will be more balanced. This balance creates authentic connection of your body, mind and heart. This allows you to experience a better mood, while feeling less frustration, fear, anger or irritation.
It might sound unusual, however original Reiki Masters in Japan discovered that Reiki sessions help in the grieving process by moving the depth of negative energy often experienced with the loss of someone close to you. If you have been grieving recently, you might cry, or simply feel like you are releasing the pain in your heart during our session.
I would love to introduce you to this form of energy healing. Reiki has been around for nearly 5,000 years, and is a deeply relaxing treatment that helps your unique life energy flow.
A Reiki session can relieve a lot of pain caused by blocked energy. It manipulates the body in a different way than a massage, by moving the energy that gets stuck in the areas you hold your pain.
A Reiki session can increase positive energy flow through your body, clear your mind, increase positive thoughts, and experience a stronger connection between body and mind and heart. You can feel your energy moving as I work to clear the energy that keeps you stuck and blocked in any area of your life.
A Reiki session can clear your chakra system of stuck negative energy. The chakras are wheels of energy and are the main energy centres of the body. When they spin freely they create harmony between the body, mind, and heart. Blocked energy in any of your chakras can lead to physical or emotional distress.
You will be laying down on my massage table if we are in person, or you may chose distance Reiki, because energy does not have boundaries.
I’ve been a successful mentor for over 25 years, and have a Masters’ Degree in Human Security and Peacebuilding, and Certifications in HeartMath, Brain Story, The Emotion Code, Tantra, Yoga, Reiki, & Meditation.
The concept that we are all connected through an energy field has fascinated me since my days of teaching others to grow food, in Canada, California, & Indonesia. I practiced my energy skills with plants, animals & water. My second career focussed on peace, human rights and humanitarian aid. This work showed me the best examples of human resilience, kindness and love. These experiences expanded my appreciation for life - how lucky we are to have the opportunity to connect with others, make a difference where we can, and try every day to make the world a better place.
Still, my biggest life lesson was learning to change myself. I had to overcome my limiting beliefs, and embrace forgiveness and gratitude in order to embrace my authentic self. When I learned how my unprocessed emotions become stuck energy in my chakras from the experiences in my life, and then found ways to release this stuck energy, I was suddenly free of what held me from fulling living the life I desired. Now I was hooked.
I love to share the practices that radically changed my life, brought me joy, and allowed me to embrace my authentic self. Almost everyone has some stuck emotional energy. It could be from childhood in the form of conditional love from a parent, sexual assault, limiting beliefs (family, religion, culture), family responsibilities, or inappropriate parent or authority figure behaviour. It can also be stuck emotional energy from adult life in the form of loss of work, moving, change of career, rejection, divorce, limiting beliefs (family, religion, culture), the death of someone close to you, or family responsibilities.
Let's do this!
I look forward to seeing you soon!
